These kits are designed in California by a top-flight industrial designer whose style expresses a fusion of function and form which appeals to North American, Asian and European customers. JP USA sends its designs to Japan where skilled model builders at JP Japan construct exact prototypes. At the same time, JP USA purchases high quality material in the United States and sends it to China to await production. When the prototypes are built and approved they are sent to JP China where JP operates its own factory. Here the kits are produced with the material from the USA under strict Japanese quality control at a cost far below any of its competitors.
